I did NOT...

I did NOT just fix stovetop popcorn for the first time in my life and the girls and I did NOT get excited when it starting popping. I did NOT overestimate how much popcorn to put in the pot and it did NOT start popping all over the floor. We did NOT laugh b/c it was NOT funny.
I did NOT spend $30 on Halloween candy only to discover I still don't have enough for treat sacks. And I did NOT eat any of it while filling those sacks.
Last night I did NOT tell Emily I would spank her hiney if she didn't eat. No, I am a feeding therapist and I would NEVER say that. Not me.
Last week I did NOT stand in front of my car in the parking lot and panic b/c I couldn't find my car. That would be ridiculous.
This morning I did NOT tell a 4 yr old that when I am in his house, he does not run the show. No, that would be way too unprofessional.
I did NOT call my housecleaner today and tell her my house was too dirty to clean, and could she come another day. That would be way too embarrassing.
What did you NOT do lately?

I did not buy the cutest Halloween plates and napkins ever at Target for Carly's school party only to realize I am supposed to bring plates and napkins to the CHRISTMAS party. I give up.

I did NOT fail to get up when my 11 year old woke me in the night to tell me just puked. I did NOT tell him to get a drink of water and a cool cloth and lay back down. I am a much better mother than that. (The next night I managed to wake completely, get up and get for him the necessary water and cool cloth.) I did NOT buy two black dresses and a beautiful pair of shoes that was more expensive than the dresses, take them to a girlfriend's house, do a fashion show, borrow her jewelry and return the purchased jewelry and second place dress. I am way too old for that. I am NOT blowing off all the work I brought home to rattle to unknown folks on the internet. I am a much more responsible teacher than that. I'm sure there are many other irresponsible ridiculous things that I did NOT do, but now I feel guilty about the work and better get to it... - Amy H
