No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to us all. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
Notice how Paul doesn't say "if we are tempted? It's going to happen. Temptation to wallow in this has to be one of The Worst weapons our enemy has against us... but Paul tells us the truth that God won't allow it without an escape.
