Round 3

This is short. I feel yucky. The neuropathy has hit hard, it is painful to touch anything, even typing hurts. Not just cold things. I have the shakes real bad too. Having trouble typing. Bad news was, my platelet count barely passed. Last time it was 234. This time it was 124. 100 is passing. So I was close. I have to get a Neulasta shot Wed to bring the count up. If it goes below 100 next time, I can't get chemo, and this mess will drag on even longer. Please please pray my count goes up. I will be devastated if this gets delayed. But the scariest part of having low counts is how susceptible I am to illness. I could catch a bug and get really sick. Also, please pray for the girls. They are having a hard time. They have very different ways of dealing with things.
Gotta go, very tired.
Michele;

Still praying for the whole Peters Clan. Hang in - you are so tough. I am proud of you. I realize that you don't really have a choice but to take it all minute by minute, but you do have a choice as to your coping method. I am proud of your choice. - Amy H

I'll keep the prayers going, especially for those counts to go up so you can get this all over with. Hang in there! You are conquering this even when it tries to pull you down. I am so proud of you, too! Take care! Praying for you always- Amy S.

Dear Michele,

I was just on Kate Lipke's website and saw your web you left and clicked on and got this site. We have been praying so diligently for you! I am so busy at work, but I just came to a complete standstill as I spent over and hour reading all your entries and shedding many tears, and laughing!(you are very entertaining in your entires) you should be a news columnist. I am so glad I now have this site to keep up with you. I can't believe you are going through this! Please let me know if there is anything (besides the best thing and that is prayer) that I can do to help! Cook dinner, runs the girls, I am off on Thursdays if you ever need to be taken to any appointments too. Please do not hesitate to let me know. Please take care and I hope you are feeling a little better today.

Sincerely,

Amy Haertling ( I saw and Amy H and a Amy S. so I better stick my whole name on there)
Isaiah 65:24 says "Before they call, I will answer."
Praying for you to be returned to perfect health.

Michele, I am praying and will send an email to my prayer partners. I am overwelmed to the point of tears with gratitude for all the people praying for you. It makes me have hope in the world. Sometimes in our daily life we are surrounded by people who are rude and act like they hate life (kind of like the chemo nurses) and it is so refreshing to see all these wonderful people who truly care about you and some hardly know you, and are praying.

I will be there this weekend. Just a few more days. Use the hand warmers, see if they will help.... and OH YEAH - DONT FORGET TO EAT!!!

In case you didnt recognize me... the DONT FORGET TO EAT is your big sister, is that considered a position of authority... Donna

Michele,
They say that God doesn't put more on you than you can bear, but I think he does push it sometimes. Hopefully this is the only day this week you'll be pushed to your max. Hang in there girl - even if it's by a thread - YOU CAN DO IT!
