Michele- Duck (Donna) just shared the news with me about your cancer. I just read your entire blog and got to a 4 on the crying scale more than once. Michele, in my mind you are Duck's little sister who is approximately age 20 and amazingly more mature at that age than Duck and I ever will be! However, after reading your blog and all of the comments--it is apparent that you have grown up to be a wonderful mother and wife and have a devoted group of friends who love you very much. It is also obvious that you are so strong in many ways. Anyone who can keep her sense of humor throgh cancer must be! Michele, I remember how determined you were to continue to suck your thumb as a toddler (and possibly beyond). Even after your mother coated your thumb in the vilest tasting concoctions! You had an iron will then and I know you still have that same fighting spirit! Please continue to post your specific prayer requests. I will pray for you daily and keep up to date by reading your blog. Hang in there—and let those tears flow when they need to. Now on to emailing Oprah….
